To know me, all you need to know is I’m a California girl—born and bred. I live for sunshine, the outdoors, and the pure bliss of seeing joy in my family’s faces. I love the sound of chirping birds in the morning, and the exhilaration of happy dogs running on the beach. I find inspiration and joy in nature, and I love making cool stuff for happy clients.
I started my career in corporate marketing design a couple of decades ago. And as the business world headed into the digital age and less of my work was in print, I felt like a part of me was missing. The smell of ink on paper and the feel of pillowy cotton card stock is my happy place, and I missed that.
Throughout my corporate marketing career I often had requests to design custom wedding invitations for friends and clients. These were my favorite projects. I love working with couples on their dream wedding invitations, and creating the perfect stationery package to complement their wedding day. As more and more of my time was spent on creating invitation packages, I realized this was what I was meant to do. So I made the ultimate commitment to my new direction and I bought a 100 year-old refurbished letterpress and mastered the art of letterpress. And The Bridal Press was born.
If you want to read more about my background, here’s an interview I did for a VoyageLA Magazine feature. You can read it here.
Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I’m glad you found us. I hope I can help you make your wedding invitation and stationery dreams come true.
my husband—my rock, my champion, the love of my life,
and the reason there’re always shoes by the door
my kids—my source of daily smiles, heart-bursting-out-of-my-chest love,
and piles of dirty clothes and dishes by the sink
pure love between two people—the looks they share, their joy in one another,
and how they let each other know when they have poppy seeds in their teeth
musical theatre—my escape to another place through the power of music,
and the anticipation of waiting for someone to miss a note 😉
the scent of a rainy day—closing my eyes to enjoy it
—except tripping and falling sucks, so I mostly leave my eyes open
puppies—especially our little rescue pal, Mayzie,
a half Yorkie, half Pomeranian ball of love and psychosis
