Bun in the Oven Baby Shower Invitations
When Ray of Radleigh and Sage asked me to design the baby shower invitations and menus for baby Jace, I had no idea how adorable and inspiring the theme that they’d dreamt up would be. Playing on the “bun” theme from baby Jace’s last name, Bao, meaning bun in Vietnamese, the “Bun in the Oven” theme was born.
The menu came alive with pork buns, dim sum and adorable pork bun themed desserts by Grace and Honey Cakes. And as the R + S team is fabulous at wowing us with their inspired decor and table settings, they are equally masterful with gorgeous florals that created an incredible scene with the balloons of The Pop Shop.
The blue and yellow color palette was a dream to work with. And using the pork bun theme on the baby shower invitation and menu graphics along with “dancing dim sum,” I had a bit of fun creating movement with the “escaping dumplings” that grooved on the colorful twine.
The table settings by Cherished Rentals were rich and beautiful in an unexpected palette of color for the typical baby shower. Radleigh and Sage designs are everything, if not typical in all the best ways. And the place cards and signage by Simply by Diane was a perfect complement to the whole table set.
I could go on gushing, but I’ll let you click over to the feature by Pretty My Party. Yes ma’am my baby shower invitations were featured with this adorable shower… you’ll see why. Check it out.
