For couples with a unique vision, The Bridal Press accepts a limited number of commissions each year to fulfill custom wedding invitation dreams.  A typical three-piece suite includes an invitation card, envelope, RSVP card, return envelope, plus an insert card. However a suite can include any items needed to complete the vision of the event. 

 

Because the most treasured mail you’ll ever send is likely to be your wedding invitation, we want to make it something truly special. It’s the first thing your guests will see and it sets the tone for your big day, generating excitement and anticipation.

 

Initiating the process at least a year in advance is encouraged. Availability is very limited for custom work and dates are not guaranteed until a deposit is received with a signed contract. You should allow three to four months for the custom invitation design process and a minimum of twelve to fifteen working days for printing and production. If you find yourself shorter on time than what’s required, a semi-custom design may be better for you.

 

Custom packages start at an average of $2,400 and can include any combination of products. The average cost of the client invitation suites shown are between $3,000 to $4,000. Let us know what your dreaming of and we’ll send you a quote.

What is the custom design process?

Here’s how we work…

ESTIMATE REQUEST

We’re going to create something unique and fabulous. So let’s get started. The link for the custom design form is below. Tell us about your wedding dreams. Show us your mood board or invite us into your pinterest world. Do you dream in 100% cotton paper or handmade rag paper—perhaps sleek and modern silky card stock or some fun die-cut shapes? The more you’re able to share with us, the better we’ll be able to create a stunning suite worthy of the admiration of all your guests.

PROPOSAL / ESTIMATE

When we receive your request form we’ll start the creative wheels turning and put together an estimate of costs for what it would take to create your dream. Breakdowns will be provided for elements like wax seals, envelope liners, silk ribbon ties, etc. We can discuss all the options and adjust until it works for you. The form submission does not guarantee a calendar reservation. When you’re ready to sign the agreement form you’ll submit your deposit to secure you calendar slot.

DESIGN & REFINE

Yay! (the best part) Once you provide us with all your info and details for your wedding, we begin the design process. Since our custom suites are made especially for you, we’ll be in contact throughout the process. You’ll receive incremental proofs via email. Through the process you will proofread your suite, confirm color selections, and final details. Delivery dates are subject to change, dependent upon how quickly proofs are returned and how many revisions are required.

THE FINAL OK

Once you give us your final stamp of approval your beautiful suite goes to print. Regardless of the printing method selected, it takes a minimum of three weeks to print and produce an invitation suite. Please allow enough time. Where a rush job is possible at times, they’re often costly. This time doesn’t include assembly and mailing.

DELIVERY

Woohoo… time to do a happy dance! We offer assembly and mailing service, should you decide you don’t have time to do it yourself. If you choose to add this, we’ll assemble, stuff, and seal all your invitation suites. If you prefer to assemble them yourself, we will send all items needed to assemble your invitation suite in one box.

DAY-OF PAPERIE

Our job isn’t over when your invitations go in the mail. We can help complete your wedding day dream with a totally coordinated look. From programs, signs, menus, and table numbers to escort cards and thank you notes, we’re here to make sure you’ve got the complete look you’ve imagined for your big day and beyond.
